Telehealth care is licensed state by state

Psychiatric nurse practitioners are licensed by each state's board of nursing. A license in one state doesn't carry over to another, even for video visits.

What matters is where you're physically located at the time of your appointment, not where you live or where your provider is. That's why we can only see patients who are in a state where Tyler Patten, APRN, PMHNP-BC, holds a license.

Let us know you'd like care in your state

Each request helps us decide where to get licensed next. If we start seeing patients in your state, you'll be the first to hear. No spam, and we never share your information.

Please don't include any health information here. Submitting this form doesn't make you a patient or schedule an appointment.

Ways to find care where you are

Search a directory

The Psychology Today directory lets you filter psychiatric providers by state, insurance, and telehealth.

Ask your primary care provider

Your PCP can often start or adjust common medications and refer you to someone local.

If you need help now

Call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time. In an emergency, call 911.
